Hello and welcome!

Hello and welcome to Studio Lunar! I’m Melanie and I’ve been working as a freelance graphic designer since graduating from a Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design) in 2016. Having been involved in the local design and creative scenes over the past fifteen years, I’ve spent my time working with some local superstars including Easton Person, Style Magazines and The New Garde.

 I’m inspired by 80s and 90s pop culture and movies, often indulging in faves such as Working Girl and The Lost Boys. Looking back on decades of the past has informed me on the value of characterisation inline with storytelling. I’m fascinated by how people lived and current trends inspired by the past and draw on these influences in many areas of my work and life.
